ECG DINAMICO
L’elettrocardiogramma secondo Holter (ecg Holter) è un esame indicato soprattutto per l’individuazione delle aritmie cardiache e dei disturbi di conduzione elettrica; fornisce inoltre importanti indicazioni sulla cardiopatia ischemica e nelle fasi successive all’infarto miocardico.
L’esame consiste nella registrazione prolungata dell’elettrocardiogramma, grazie a un apparecchio che viene applicato ambulatorialmente; la registrazione può durare 24, 48 o 72 ore, durante le quali il paziente può svolgere le sue attività quotidiane, compresi eventuali sforzi fisici. Durante l’esame il paziente deve annotare le attività svolte e i sintomi avvertiti, che potranno così essere messi in relazione con il tracciato elettrocardiografico.
Holter pressorio delle 24 ore ( monitoraggio della pressione)
Il monitoraggio pressorio delle 24 ore (Holter pressorio) è un test non invasivo che consente di registrare la pressione arteriosa continuativamente per 24 ore, mediante un piccolo apparecchio fissato in vita con una cintura.
L’esame è utile in pazienti:
– che hanno una ipertensione arteriosa instabile
– facilmente emozionabili, che di fronte al “camice bianco” del medico hanno sbalzi pressori, ma che a casa hanno una pressione normale
– ipertesi in terapia farmacologica, per controllare che il farmaco agisca in ogni momento della giornata, e non solo per alcune ore
– che pur avendo la pressione arteriosa normale, durante il giorno accusano sintomi che possono far pensare ad improvvisi aumenti o diminuzioni della pressione (vertigini, sbandamenti, vampate, sudore freddo, senso di svenimento, “testa vuota”, sanguinamento dal naso ecc.)
– ipertesi che prendono medicine per abbassare la pressione ed accusano saltuariamente dei disturbi
